Prosciutto Pasta Mediterranean

With onion, tomato, fresh parsley, parmesan cheese, and Prosciutto you just can’t go wrong with any part of this fantastic dish.
Ingredients -
2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Onion (chopped)
1 Cup Tomato (chopped)
1 Can Evaporated Skim Milk (12 oz.)
1/4 Cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)
1 Tablespoon Dry Mint
1 Tablespoon Dry Basil
1 1/2 Cups Parmesan Cheese (grated)
1/4 Pound Prosciutto (chopped)
1 Pound Pasta (cooked)
1 Teaspoon Lemon Pepper
 
Preparation:

1. Cook the onion in olive oil in large skillet.

2. Add the tomato and cook a few minutes longer.

3. Add milk and lemon pepper.

4. Add the pasta to the milk mixture.

5. Toss it while adding the herbs.

6. Add the cheese and the prosciutto.

7. The mixture will thicken when adding the cheese.

8. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Onions

If you aren’t fond of onions, which need to be present in this dish, try switching the onion ingredient to a shallot. You need to up the quantity because a shallot is not as strong as an onion is. Try using ¾ cup of shallots instead of ½ cup of the onion.
